Walking around a 'Toulousian' suburb

Every night after dinner we explored this neighborhood.

Just walking around the suburbs in Toulouse was sometimes a treat.

Houses were gorgeous, spring in full bloom and loads of friendly cats.

We would hear singing and classical music streaming from the houses, smell the culinary skills of the french and say "bonsoir" to the people we would meet.

In this region it is rude not to be polite, it is really the little things that make the difference!

You've got to love a place where the people are offended if you don't say bonjour or compliment their garden. Where I live, making eye contact with a neighbor is treat enough for me.

All the pics are great, BUT.....
that grey kitty reminded me of my big grey cat that I had to put down almost 2 years ago now. He was my big buddy and I miss him. Seeing that pic brought a nice flow of memories and a smile to my face!
Thanks!
